23 March 2010 This Thursday, the Life in Kosovo show will broadcast exclusive interviews with the ambassadors of Kosovo in the United Kingdom, Muhamet Hamiti, and in France, Muhamedin Kullashi.
What are the priorities of Kosovo’s ambassadors? How is the lobbying process for new recognitions going? What are the arguments of countries that still haven’t recognised Kosovo? When will consular services be offered to Kosovo’s diaspora? What is the level of cooperation between France and the United Kingdom with Kosovo? What is the level of investment in Kosovo from those two countries?
As part of the show, BIRN will broadcast an investigative report on the illegal pharmacy in Podujevo that is working without a licence.
Life in Kosovo is a co-production between Kosovo Public Television, RTK and the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network, BIRN. It is broadcast every Thursday, starting at 20:20.
Climate Change
This December, representatives of around 192 countries gathered in Copenhagen, Denmark for the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change Conference (UNFCCC) to forge agreement on a Protocol determining how to collectively combat climate change. This will replace the Kyoto Protocol which expires in 2012, and hopefully correct its shortcomings.
