Analytical report of research into the standards and problems at the University of Prishtina. Ten years since the end of the war in Kosovo, the University of Prishtina (UP) continues to suffer from a variety of problems, resulting in persistently low quality courses being offered. For this reason, BIRN conducted research into the problems faced by UP students. The data gathered suggests that, out of the many issues reported, the most significant are: the non-implementation of contemporary teaching and assessment methods, the lack of practical work for students, the lack of appropriate academic literature, arbitrary assessments by
professors and generally poor relationships between students and their professors.

How can the law be inadmissable in court?
Posted: 2007-09-28 16:58:15,
If in Albin Kurti's statement, the list of laws he read is considered "inadmissable," then what do UNMIK courts consider admissable? If he is not allowed to read his defense under a plea of not guilty, what is he supposed to read. How can the law be inadmissable.

Albin Kurti is right person, reliable and he knows what he said. He is not guilty, and most of the albanians know this.Only our "great politicians" don't want to hear about Albin Kurti. The UNMIK that practising the "justice" here in Kosova, is not a justice but is a Major crime the UNMIK officers here in Kosova and kosovan politicians and their dirty goverment ( as they call themself "politician") are doing against albanian People by crushing the freespeach of albanian, writing on their report to UN headquarter, that the Albanian are violent people, and such thing that trying to show to the World that albanian people are not ready to take the justice in their hand or the independence, as these UN officers here in Kosova want to take more time, because they geting trmendous huge wages. Also the UN officers and EU officers trying to keep Kosovan as part of Serbia, becuse of their own country interest, like Solana for example. And I think, these are the reason why they trying to crush down Albin Kurtis and albanian minds, which is an act against human rights.
