25 December 2007  On the summer-autumn of 2007, BIRN Kosovo young team of journalist produced a short documentary on youth freedom of movement in Kosovo, "Obstacles to the other side".

The 17-minute documentary tackles problems facing Kosovo’s youth in their efforts to move around freely in their homeland and tells the stories of seven young Kosovo Serbs and Albanians, who reveal the problems and barriers they face during their everyday lives.

Does Anyone Have a Plan

Produced by the Balkan Investigative Reporting Network, BIRN and directed by the award-winning film maker Lode Desmet, this 85-minute documentary focuses on the dilemmas facing 17 ordinary people from Kosovo, Serbia and neighbouring countries in the run-up to final status negotiations.

During the film they put their most burning questions to - and receive answers from - a range of leading local and international political figures, including the European Union's foreign policy chief, Javier Solana, a senior US State Department official, Nicholas Burns, Serbia's President, Boris Tadic, Kosovo's Prime Minister, Bajram Kosumi and many others.
